Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Vocal / Rap Labs ("we", "us") about your use of Vocal / Rap Labs at https://vocalraplabs.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission, and they agree to these terms for you. You may not use the Service where the law doesn't allow it.
2. Your account
- Give accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person, one free pass: creating extra accounts to get more free passes, tokens or promo codes isn't allowed.
3. Your content
"Your content" means the audio, lyrics, notes and other material you upload, record or create with the Service, including results you generate with it.
- You keep ownership of your content.
- You give us permission to store, process, copy and transmit your content only as needed to run the Service for you, for example saving your takes, applying effects, and sending audio to our AI voice provider when you ask for a conversion.
- You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload: your own voice or performances, beats and samples you're licensed to use, and lyrics you wrote or may use.
4. Voices and AI
AI voice conversion is provided with the help of ElevenLabs, and their terms and policies also apply to that processing. You agree not to use the Service to:
- copy, clone or imitate a real person's voice without their permission;
- impersonate anyone, or create content meant to mislead people into thinking a real person said or sang something they didn't;
- create content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, or that infringes anyone's rights.
Where the law or a platform you publish on requires AI-generated or AI-altered content to be labelled, labelling it is your responsibility.
5. Tokens, the free pass and promo codes
- Tokens let you use paid features such as WAV renders, lyrics takes, Key Lock and AI voice conversions. They have no cash value, can't be transferred or exchanged for money, and are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Features and prices in tokens may change.
- The free all-access pass lasts 7 days from when you confirm your email and is available once per person. It may include a limited number of minutes of AI voice conversion, after which conversions use tokens. AI voice conversions are priced by the length of the take, and the site may pause them for everyone for the rest of a day if a daily limit is reached. Files uploaded during a pass that isn't followed by a purchase may be deleted 30 days after the pass ends; the dashboard shows the date.
- Promo codes can be used once per account, may expire or run out, and may be withdrawn if they're abused.
- We may cancel tokens, passes or codes obtained through abuse, errors or breaking these terms.
6. Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. By buying tokens you also agree to Stripe's terms for that payment.
7. Storage
Accounts have storage limits (100 MB, or 500 MB after a first purchase) and a per-file upload limit of 50 MB. Keep your own copies of anything important: the Service isn't a backup service, and we can't guarantee your content will always be available.
8. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to break into, disrupt, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service; get around its limits, payments or security; or use it to send spam or malware.
9. Changes and availability
The Service is new and may change, pause or end. We'll try to give reasonable notice of major changes, but we don't guarantee the Service will always be available or error-free.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the Service or other people at risk.
11. Disclaimers and limits of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or content, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
12. Your responsibility to us
If someone brings a claim against us because of your content or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim, to the extent the law allows.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States, except where the law of the place you live gives you protections that can't be waived.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll let you know on the site or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
